Canadian Firefighters Memorial Ceremony 2019
The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Manitoba Fire Service hosted the sixteenth annual Canadian Firefighters Memorial Ceremony
at the Canadian Firefighters Memorial in Ottawa on the Firefighters'
National Memorial Day, Sunday, September 8, 2019.
The flag in this display case, is the first flag flown from the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill on the first Firefighter's National Memorial Day, on Sunday, September 10, 2017. The Government of Canada gifted it to the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation for this ceremony. It's presence on this altar in this ceremony will continue.
