I took twelve pictures this day. That's not many. It was very cold, otherwise I would have taken more. With a cloudless sky, early in the afternoon, the light made for some decent photographs.

I think some of the oak trees parted their leaves late in the season and hold onto them because the sap froze. The leaves should fall in spring as the new buds push last year's leaves off the tree. |

I like to photograph the lone pine, as it represents wildland firefighters. |

The oval in the upper left is not a UFO. It's a lens flare. I'll be looking for a suitable lens hood to deal with that. |
