Canadian Firefighters Memorial, July 19, 2015

Bluesfest was going full swing on this day. That made finding a place to park a little dicey. Fortunately I found a place where a very kind person who was leaving the show let me have his parking spot. So I'm thankful for that.

The vegetation on the site looks to be thriving. The weather on this day consisted of intermittent showers, lightning, and a moderately overcast sky. I think I lucked out on the lighting though.

I found the remains of the deceased maple tree.

Canadian Firefighters Memorial, July 5, 2015

I wanted to come out last week but it rained intensely. It all works out though. Next week Bluesfest will make parking in the area of the Canadian Firefighters Memorial impossible. I see the dead maple tree has been removed. I do hope it gets replaced. The blueberry bushes have blueberries, well, at least until the local blueberry harvester comes and takes them. Overall, the memorial looks really good on this day.

I couldn't find where the dead maple tree had been. I was in the vicinity of this
area. It has been removed since I last visited the site. I hop it will be replaced.

If you take a close look at the picture of this blueberry bush you will see some
blueberries on it. I hope these plants will really take in their environment. When
they become large they will be very impressive.
