Canadian Firefighters Memorial, August 23, 2015

It looks to me like the memorial has been prepared for the upcoming memorial ceremony. The firefighter has received a new protective coating. Although I can't distinguish the new names that have been added to the wall there is evidence that they have been added. Areas of the wall where the names are have been wiped off. You may be able to see it in some of the photographs. The site looks really good.

The downy snowberry trees furthest from the road produced many berries.
Hopefully these will turn bright red and remain on the trees for the ceremony.

In these closeup pictures of the firefighter you can see he has been given a
protective coating.

In these photographs of the wall you can see where the wall has been wiped
down in order to use the stencils to add names to the wall.

Canadian Firefighters Memorial, August 9, 2015

At the time of posting this, the Canadian Firefighters Memorial Ceremony is about five weeks away. The memorial site looks beautiful, with all the landscape plants doing extremely well. I checked the wall to see if any names have been added yet, but it doesn't look like it.

I took this to show that the limber pines have produced pine cones.
