Canadian Firefighters Memorial, August 28, 2011

The concrete for the lone pine planter has been poured and holes in the surface of the structure have been filled in and smoothed over. The footing of the wall has been protected with blue plastic material manufactured for the purpose.

The top and the footing of the wall have been covered with a material called Blueskirt.

The lone pine planter has been cast and its interior covered with protective material.

Note the hole and the structure. There will be a lot going on with this structure. It will have a power supply and facilities involving water, most likely for the tree that will go in it.

The top of the manhole cover will eventually be the ground level. The rectangular thing in front of the manhole cover will be an access cover for water supply.

A demonstration of how the wall will be covered.

The rebar structures will go on the leveled pathway, which will have a concrete surface that will be covered with stone work.

There's the test wall covering with a capstone for the wall.

You can see stones on the surface behind the capstone.

This is a heavy duty bag for carrying things around on the site.
