The Canadian Firefighters Memorial has lights. I wanted to take pictures of it at night to capture the way its lights look. As I arrived before it got dark I took some pictures of the site in the light of the late afternoon. The plan is to record how the site changes colour through the seasons.
At the time these pictures were taken the plants had been put in so recently that they had not acclimatized to their new home. In addition to that I think their sense of season was upset. At a time when they should have been preparing for winter they were blooming and growing and doing things not appropriate to the season or the temperature.
Some of the pictures on this blog site will show up out of order in the posts. I don't know why that happens but it is characteristic of this blog sites composition software. Getting the out of order photographs placed where they are supposed to go is not easily done without screwing up the way they are nicely arranged on the page. I notice above there is a photograph taken at dusk in among those taken later on when it was very dark. Please, just accept that this thing happens.
