Canadian Firefighters Memorial, August 16, 2012

The site becomes transformed as the landscaping goes into place. There is still construction to be done. The fire pole has yet to arrive. The site is looking good but there is still some doubt as to whether it will be ready. As the plants take hold on the site it will develop into its own ecological system.
















































This is Robert Kirkpatrick, President of the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation. He expressed worry about the site being ready for the Memorial and Dedication Ceremony.
