Canadian Firefighters Memorial, July 5, 2012

The ceremony is two months away. All the names have been sand blasted onto the wall. Paving stones have been laid in front of the wall and hard points for seats have been poured there. Other work about the site continues, most noticeable involving the lone pine planter. This was a work day but the crew was on a break in the shade nearby.

There is a fire pole to come. I was told that it was delayed because the company contracted to make it didn't understand it was to be a bronze pole and so they had to treat the surface of it.
