Canadian Firefighters Memorial, April 21, 2012

Capstones are going on the top of the wall. Work on the slope stone structure continues. There's still something going on inside the lone pine planter. Some of the work in there could be structural. At completion there are rods that extend out from one of the walls of the planter that support an altar for the helmets of the fallen. There has to be some kind of counter balance inside the structure to counter the fulcrum effect at the wall.

You can see there is finishing work being done to the stones to fit them properly.

One thing I think needs mentioning. The people working on the site kept it very neat.
