Canadian Firefighters Memorial, April 29, 2012

Quite a lot is going on now. Electrical equipment has been installed in the statue base. Wall stones (for lack of a better description) are going in place on the north wall. They will be set with precision and then virtually disappear. Work on the capstones continues. Electrical work is going on elsewhere on the site.

Electrical equipment has been installed here. These are lighting fixtures.

This shows the work done on the capstones from behind the wall.

The first of the small wall stones have been placed. The spaces in front and behind them will be filled with soil and planted.

The front edge of this structure has been adjusted for the small wall stones. This work will also disappear.

The small wall stones have placement coding on them.

The electrical boxes have been put in place here. The texture of the facing stones on this structure is rougher than the texture of the facing stones on the wall that will hold the names.

This stone is marked "MD-10."
