Canadian Firefighters Memorial, November 19, 2011

There is heavy equipment on the north side of the site. Stones are being laid on top of the concrete structure. This work was all done with precision and attention to detail. As you'll see later on the effort that will go into this will all but disappear when the site gets landscaped, which is almost the last thing done to the site.

There will be a light fixture on this hard point. Note the bolts sticking up.

There is a tarp on the structure for the statue base. This is likely in preparation for winter.

Stones are being laid on the concrete structures on the north slope. There will be much work done with all of this.

Note the small cement mixer. There are two of these on the site. The concrete made with them is used as mortar for the stone work on the north slope.
