Canadian Firefighters Memorial, September 18, 2011

The site office trailer has been moved. Some stonework has been attached to the wall. Some formers for other concrete structures are in place and some of them have concrete in them.

Some of the stone facing has been attached to the wall. You can see wiring running behind it.

Formers are in place for the additional concrete on the top of the statue's base.

You can see the method by which the stone facings are attached to the wall.

This structure will become a set of steps on a walkway.

A concrete edging is being put in place here. To the left of that pine trees will be planted. On the right will be grass.

What will become a hill has been formed here.

These are markers. There will be a light on every second one. There is a small bronze square at the top with a number on it. The number is keyed to the database of the fallen, which can be found on the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation web site. With a name found on the web site there is a number that will tell you where to find that name on the wall.
