Canadian Firefighters Memorial, November 12, 2011

For some reason the stone facing that was on the far west end of the wall has been removed. This gave me a chance to photograph some of the metal parts holding it in place. I am assuming that the metal brackets and bolts seen there are made from stainless steel. There are some markings on the structure on the north slope. As well I had received a request to photograph the site from across the street so I have done that.

You can see a steel bolt protruding from the concrete wall. A bracket would be attached to there and it would hold the stone facing.

I think the rubber pad would go between the bracket and the wall.
