Canadian Firefighters Memorial, April 7, 2013

The snow is all but gone. The temperature is still chilly but bearable. The statue definitely has developed a green patina, as can be seen in the closeups of its feet. With this posting all the pictures I've taken of the Canadian Firefighters Memorial are posted on this blog site. This does not mean I have stopped posting pictures. I'll be continuing to post them as I revisit the site and take more. I plan on doing that about once a month.

The numbers along the wall are keyed to the list of the fallen on The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation web site. Clicking on the name of a firefighter on that list will bring up another page with additional information among which is the number on the wall that is closest to their name.

I expect the concrete rectangle seen hear will be the location of the title and dedication plaque.
